Colossal is all about self love, never stopping, or defining ourselves by the boundaries the world attempts to impose upon us. Light, happy, upbeat and feel good, Colossal shares the message we don’t need validation from others to feel love and a sense of purpose in life, but instead are inspired to look inwards to find those qualities.
I use my music as a sonic train of thought per se; of all my memories, opinions, thoughts, views of world, abstract feelings, etc. The way I see it, the listener plugs in their headphones and gets to connect with my mind every time they play my song, and through that, gets to connect with themselves.
Music has been my outlet, whether its listening, or creating. Many times I’ve heard a song, or even a lyric that connects with me and I understand in a way I didn’t think I would, and I want to be able to do that for people.
