Radio Silence is the debut album from Toronto based singer, songwriter, producer Jesse Maxwell. The album represents an internal dialogue of the human experience, whether it be loneliness, infatuation, obsession, addiction, acceptance, egotism, etc. The title and album concept was born from going “radio silence” on your own surroundings and being alone, only with your thoughts. Radio Silence is packed with layers of intimacy, and raw honest emotion. It’s 9 tracks explore a range of complex subjects in a straightforward way. Jesse Maxwell’s unique vocal style, and the use of chords, synths, beats, cross-genres, moods, instrumentation, and vocal arrangements take us to different places yet keep a tight-knit cohesion on this debut set. Close your eyes, hear, taste and feel into the multi-layered journey that was born out of silence. Jesse Maxwell has graced us sonically with his deep and rich inner world, which we can all somehow relate to and enjoy.
